Day 5 - Juneau

We took the Mt. Roberts Tram to the top of Mt. Roberts where we had a great view of downtown Juneau. We were also able to view Bald Eagles flying below us.

Just a short walk from the boat was the state capital Juneau. The city is only accessible by sea or air. You can walk down the main street and look up and see bald eagles nesting in the foothills. One local told us that an eagle they named Charlie warms himself on a street lamp every morning.

Tomorrow: Ketchikan
